Description | Epizootic lymphangitis is a contagious, chronic disease of horses and other Equidae caused by the fungus Histoplasma farciminosum. It is characterised clinically by a spreading, suppurative, ulcerating pyogranulomatous dermatitis and lymphangitis. This is seen particularly in the neck, legs and chest. |
