Description Infectious haematopoietic necrosis (IHN) is an infectious viral disease of salmon and trout, which was first recognised in the 1950s in North America in Chinook and Sockeye salmon . The disease has most economic significance for freshwater farms, however Pacific and Atlantic salmon in both freshwater and seawater have been severely affected
